Renaissance Equine Center,
LLC
Formed in 2003 in Central Western
Ohio after combining businesses with
Joanne Bosma from Kent City, MI.

At this time we are looking into two
state of the art facilities in Western OH
that we hope will meet all our breeding,
training, boarding, and equine needs.
These facilities will allow us to finally
offer exhibitions to clinicians, shows in
the dressage, hunter/jumper field, and
driving shows. We will start immediately
working on the lifetime goal of a
ParaEquestrian Training Center and a
center for people to come and learn
about natural horsemanship, the
equus language, and how to train
gentling methods.
Laurietta Oakleaf, Head Trainer &
Reproduction

I am 30 years old and have over 18 years
experience working with horses, mainly in
behavioral, pleasure, stallion handler and
hunter/jumper, but have recently achieved
my USDF certificates in Training and 1st
Level Dressage. Working on my 2nd Level
Certificate now.

In 2001 I got hurt which turned in to a
devastating illness. I thought everything
was over in the horse field, but was soon to
realize it was just starting. I learned a whole
new way of training, in the beginning I
trained from a wheelchair, but later am in
braces, but train just as well as before. I
am now dealing with Mantle Cell
Lymphoma, but am determined to beat this
cancer or at least leave this world with
people that have finally learned to respect
their horses and learned to listen!  I
specialize in troubled horses, stallions, and
friesians/baroque breeds, but will take any
breed. I love horses and have geared a lot
of my training towards calm tempered
horses and helping owners learn how to fix
the problems of their horse.

Attended several courses in
behavioral training, to include a few:
Natural Horsemanship Trainer
Monty Roberts fix-up class
Monty Robert's Introductory Class
and
other classes/clinics

Pat Parelli Level 1 Clinic
Paul Dufresne Private Lessons for 2 w
eeks
in Training for Courage
And MANY MORE

Please ask for a full list if you want.

I can also supply References if requested.
Joanne Bosma, Breeder

Joanne Bosma has been a nurse for
well over 20 years and within the last 5
years has taken her nursing skills a
step further. She went to OSU to take
courses in Artificial Insemination and
next fall, 2010, will be taking courses at
Colorado State University in Embryo
Transfer. She will also be getting her
certificate in Stallion collection as well.

She has a very good success rate in
Cooled and Frozen  Artificial
Insemination which a couple Equine
Vets will vouch for in Michigan to her
success rate, but her prices are
reasonable.
